Matt Davis

Matt has over 10 years of experience in the industrial, gas, and power development fields and 16 years of government administration. With New Fortress Energy (NFE), Matt successfully developed LNG storage, regasification, and power development projects in Florida and throughout the Caribbean. In addition, Matt led the permitting of the NFE Miami LNG facility and the Montego Bay Jamaica LNG import facility. Before NFE, was on the development and government affairs team for Florida East Coast Industries, Florida’s largest industrial developer. Prior to that, Matt led Miami-Dade County’s Natural Resource Division, the largest local environmental program in the Country where he successfully streamlined permitting processes, allowing for the local issuance of County, State and Federal environmental permit under one fast track process.
